§ Mr. MaudlingThe treatment of alcoholism as such is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Social Services. The Working Party on Habitual Drunken Offenders, whose Report was published on 2nd March, included in their recommendations the provision of more hostels. My right hon. Friend and I are studying the Report in consultation with interested organisations.
