§ Mr. Strangasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if it is the policy of the Government to achieve an increase in the purchasing power of the National Insurance pension since it was last increased in 1969.
§ Sir K. JosephI anticipate that the rates we propose to introduce in the week beginning 20th September will do so.
