§ Mr. Peter ThomasProposals to provide automatic half-barrier level crossings are made by the British Railways Board to my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment. I understand that no proposals are before him to provide such crossings in Wales.
I have no plans at present to replace any level crossings on trunk roads by bridges or underpasses.
