§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Minister of Aviation Supply whether he will specify 56W for the longest and most convenient period of time since 18th June, 1970, actions that he has taken to reduce the prices of any goods and services which fall within the control of his Department, or for which he has to give Ministerial approval.
§ Mr. David PricePrices with which my right hon. Friend's Department is concerned are mainly those arising in the discharge of defence procurement functions. These are largely dependent upon the outcome of contract negotiations, in which the aim is always to agree a fair and reasonable price.
