§ 10. Mr. Normantonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether she is now in a position to make a statement regarding the re-housing of the National Library for Science and Invention.
§ Mr. van StraubenzeeIt was made clear in the White Paper on the British Library—Cmnd. 4572—published in January, that a new building for the National Reference Library for Science and Invention, to be renamed the Science Reference Library, will be erected as part of a complex of library buildings on the Bloomsbury site. Priority will be given to the Science Reference Library which it is hoped will be complete in 1978.
