asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what will be the date of operation of the revised dental, ophthalmic and prescription charges, the new charges for appliances and the abolition of cheap welfare milk.

It is intended to introduce the revised dental, ophthalmic and appliance charges, and the 4s. prescription charge on 1st April, 1971, and to abolish cheap welfare milk from 4th April, 1971.
