Mr. Bishop

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many Government training centres there now are in Nottinghamshire; and what plans he has to increase this number, in view of the need to retrain redundant miners and ex-miners in the county.

There are no Government training centres in Nottinghamshire, but the county is served by the centres at Long Eaton and Sheffield. As to future plans, I have nothing to add to the reply which I gave to the hon. Member on 27th October, 1970.—[Vol. 805, c.56.]
