Mr. Bishop

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will give the figures of the number of people killed or seriously injured expressed as a percentage of total casualties, for roads with 30 miles per hour, 40 miles per hour, 50 miles per hour and 70 miles per hour limits, respectively, in Great Britain for the last three successive years.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will give figures for any recent convenient month showing the number of fatal and serious casualties in Great Britain between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., and 10 p.m. to midnight, with comparable figures for the same period before the breathalyser test commenced in 1966, with the percentage change.
