§ Mr. Dudley SmithUnder existing legislation, industrial training boards may already make proposals to my right hon. Friend to vary, from one levy period to the next, the method of assessing the levy. It would not be desirable to give boards a discretion to vary the method, either generally or in relation to a particular firm, while a statutory levy order is in force.
