§ Mr. CarlisleThe Home Office is already sponsoring a small research project into the employment of schoolchildren, and my right hon. Friend is consulting local education authorities and other interested bodies about the operation of the existing law on this subject. My right hon. Friend will await the outcome of these inquiries before considering whether any action is called for on his part.
