HC Deb 28 October 1970 vol 805 c127W
51. Mr. Iremonger

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer why the daily OFFICIAL REPORT of House of Commons Parliamentary Debates, Hansard, is now not being delivered to the homes of hon. Members in London before noon; and if he will take steps to see that it is delivered in future not later than 8 a.m. by, if necessary, an agency other than the Post Office.

Mr. Patrick Jenkin

By the joint effort of St. Stephen's Parliamentary Press and the Post Office, Members living in the London postal areas normally receive their copies of Commons HANSARD between 7.15 and 9.15 a.m. There has so far as I am aware been no change in this service over recent years except on occasions when there have been unavoidable delays in over-night printing.
