§ Mr. Elystan Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales what is his estimate of the total number of houses in both the public and private sector which will be built in Wales in 1970; and how this will compare with the average total for the years 1965 to 1969 inclusive.
§ Mr. Gibson-WattCompletions in the first nine months of this year were 5,231 in the public sector and 6,212 in the private sector. The average of annual completions over the five years 1965 to 1969 was 9,586 in the public sector and 9,519 in the private sector. The totals for 1970 are unlikely to reach that average.
