§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe terms of the Local Government Superannuation Acts 1937 to 1953 and the regulations made under them do not permit this option to be reviewed and fresh legislation would be required for that purpose. Proposals for such a change would in the first instance be a matter for negotiation between employers and staff organisations and not for me.
