asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will now make a statement concerning his plans for cuts in Government expenditure and review of departmental administration.

On public expenditure, I would refer the hon. Member to the Statement which my right hon. Friend made earlier this afternoon.
As to the second part of the question I would refer the hon. Member to the White Paper on "The Reorganisation of Central Government", Cmnd. 4506.
