§ Mr. Patrick JenkinThe face value of all white coin struck in 1969 was £128.3 million, including £82.05 million in 50p coin. In 1833 silver coins with a face value of £145 were struck, but this was not typical of the period. Between 1816 and 1833 the face value of silver coin struck was £9.2 million.
