§ Mr. Anthony StodartIt is an offence under the Food and Drugs Act, 1955 to supply horse flesh for human consumption to a purchaser who has not asked for it, and to sell any food under a false or misleading label.
It is also an offence under the Trade Descriptions Act, 1968 to apply a false description to any goods.
