§ Mr. Elystan Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will add the towns of Lampeter and Cardigan to the list of growth towns in Mid-Wales.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasI have no immediate plans to add to this list which was drawn up only last year after full consultation with the Mid-Wales Industrial Development Association. But the listing of certain places as growth towns in no way precludes the possibility of industrial development being fostered elsewhere in Mid-Wales, as is evidenced by the plan to develop advance nursery factories in Lampeter.
