§ Mr. Hicksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement with regard to the progress being made by the Working Party, established in July, 1970, to consider measures to alleviate traffic problems in Bodmin before completion of the by-pass, particularly in the Guardian Corner-Church Square area of the borough.
§ Mr. Michael HeseltineA number of meetings have been held as a result of which:
- (a) Waiting restrictions have been introduced as an experiment on parts of the trunk road in Bodmin.
- (b) A parking survey is being undertaken.
- (c) Proposals for improving conditions in Church Square are being considered.
