HC Deb 24 November 1970 vol 807 c108W
Mr. Blenkinsop

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what progress is being made with the review of public access by local planning authorities which was commenced a year ago.

Mr. Graham Page

No further separate review of public access by local planning authorities has been arranged. The need for further public access is one of the aspects which will be covered in regional and sub-regional studies into recreational facilities generally which the Countryside Commission are planning to carry out in conjunction with local planning authorities. A study of recreational needs in the South-East has already begun.
