§ 94. Mr. William Edwardsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether she will seek to increase the grant to the Welsh Committee of the Arts Council to enable them to meet the increased costs of the Welsh Opera Company and the Welsh Theatre Company.
§ Mr. van StraubenzeeIt is for the Arts Council of Great Britain to determine what proportion of its total grant-in-aid shall be made available to the Welsh Arts Council. Responsibility for making grants to individual companies in Wales rests with the Welsh Arts Council.
