HC Deb 23 November 1970 vol 807 cc26-7W
92. Mr. James Johnson

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what progress he has made with his working party to inquire into the parking of lorries and the accommodation of drivers; and what outline plan he has devised so far in conjunction with the local authorities and commercial interests concerned to set up these lorry parks.

Mr. Graham Page

I expect to receive an interim report from the working party, which is studying this subject, early in the new year. Any outline plan must await consideration of the conclusions reached in the report.
