§ Mr. Molloyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether the Government accepts Resolution No. 459 in reply to the 17th Report on the activities of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 22nd September, 1970; and whether they will maintain and if possible increase their financial contribution to the work of the High Commissioner.
§ Mr. GodberHer Majesty's Government have noted the Consultative Assembly's Resolution No. 459 which is, in principle, acceptable.
The United Kingdom's contribution to the 1971 programme of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees will be maintained at the same level as this year i.e. £150,000.
