HC Deb 18 November 1970 vol 806 c399W
26. Mr. Whitehead

asked the Minister of Aviation Supply if he will request the accountants investigating Rolls-Royce to discover what is the current number of firm orders by airlines for the Lockheed Tri-jet, excluding the number apportioned to Air Holdings Limited; and what is the number of such orders received in the past 12 months.

Mr. Corfield

There is no need to ask the accountants. I am informed by Rolls-Royce that the number of firm orders by airlines for the Lockheed Tristar is 173, of which 29 are on Air Holdings Ltd.'s account.

None of these orders has been placed in the past 12 months.
