§ Mr. Armstrongasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what proposals he has for expanding the Urban Aid Programme in the Northern Region.
§ Mr. SharplesThe Urban Programme in its present form provides for expenditure in Great Britain amounting to £20–£25 million in the period of four years ending in April, 1972, and up to £40 million during the succeeding four years. Local authorities in the Northern Region will share in this in proportion to their special social need.
