HC Deb 18 November 1970 vol 806 cc431-2W
Mr. Molloy

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether the Government accept Resolution No. 460 on the position of the Czechoslovak refugees which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 22nd September, 1970; and what action they propose to take on the proposals in paragraph 9 of this resolution.

Mr. Kershaw

Her Majesty's Government have taken note of this Resolution, which is acceptable in principle. Her Majesty's Government's policy is to facilitate the settlement of refugees from Czechoslovakia and to assist them wherever possible in pursuing their studies and professions.
