§ Mr. Anthony GrantMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment has overall responsibility for the reclamation of derelict land. In those parts of the country where we are required to consider how far schemes for which grant application has been made would be expedient with a view to contributing to the development of industry, we shall have full regard to the inhibiting effects of dereliction on industrial development.
