HC Deb 16 November 1970 vol 806 cc307-8W
77. Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on relations between Great Britain and Tanzania.

Sir Alec Douglas-Home

I am sure that there is no lack of good will between our two peoples and inter-Governmental relations are equally cordial. It is true that there are differences of view over a number of issues, some of them major; but our exchanges on such matters are always characterised by mutual understanding and respect.
