§ Mr. Graham PageI am at present considering the report of the inspector who held the public inquiry into the proposed widening of Aylmer Road, Lyttleton Road and Falloden Way, and the consultants' recommendations for the improvement of the section of Archway Road from "The Wellington" junction to Winchester Road. I cannot yet say what the outcome will be.
Work on widening the length between Winchester Road and Archway, which is largely the responsibility of the Greater London Council as highway authority, is due to start next year.
The remainder of the route south of Archway is the responsibility of the Greater London Council or the Corporation of the City of London.
