§ Mr. Alison1,976 doctors are in contract with Inner London Executive Council to provide full general medical services, and all of them have arrangements, notified to the executive council, for deputies to act for them when they are absent from their practices.
282WThe council has given consent to 419 doctors to use a deputising service for some nights and weekends. Consent to use a service on every night and weekend is given only on exceptional grounds, at present to 11 doctors.
