§ Mr. Graham PageSpending next year on the road programme of motorway, trunk and principal road improvements will be unaffected by the new policies for public spending outlined in the White Paper Cmnd. 4515. However, the exceptional progress made on some motorway schemes this year may reduce the incidence of payments on these schemes in 1971–72.
