asked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the average weekly wage for men and for women, respectively, in Scotland; and what information he has on the rates in different regions.

The most recent information available for Scotland, Wales and the Standard regions of England is for October, 1969 and relates to men manual workers aged 21 years and over. As the reply consists of a table of figures, I will, with permission, circulate it in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
