Mr. Waddingtonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what steps are taken to recover supplementary benefit paid to wives who have received such benefit when their husbands have failed to make payments under court orders and then later have recovered through the courts the sums which earlier their husbands had failed to pay.
§ Mr. DeanIn these circumstances the wife is asked to refund voluntarily any supplementary benefit paid in consequence of the husband's failure to make regular payments for maintenance under the court order.
