HC Deb 10 November 1970 vol 806 cc117-8W
109. Mr. Chichester-Clark

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will ask the Governments of other countries to enter discussions with Her Majesty's Government before channelling relief gifts into the United Kingdom.

Mr. Anthony Royle

I do not consider it would be appropriate for the Government to attempt to impose controls on the flow of gifts.
