HC Deb 10 November 1970 vol 806 c158W
Mr. Coleman

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if, in view of the widespread concern of drug taking amongst school children, he will take steps to institute an investigation into the problem in the schools of Wales, so as to identify the size of the problem and to make recommendations as to its solution.

Mr. Peter Thomas

Although I have no reason to think that drug taking is a serious problem in Welsh schools, the threat is there and the Government shares the hon. Member's concern. His suggestion will be borne in mind.
