HC Deb 06 November 1970 vol 805 c492W
Mr. Cledwyn Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what plans exist for a new base hospital at Bodelwyddan; and how they will affect the present general hospitals at Holywell, St. Asaph, Rhyl and Wrexham.

Mr. Peter Thomas

Planning of the first phase of the new district general hospital at Bodelwyddan is well advanced. This will not affect hospitals at Wrexham but the future use of existing hospitals in the Rhyl area will be the subject of full consultation by the Welsh Hospital Board with local interests.
