asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will reconsider the decision to disband the Mass Miniature Mobile Radiography Unit in Sheffield, in view of the high incidence of chest disease in Sheffield industry and the great value of this service to workers at their place of work.

The figures of earnings are the gross weekly earnings of the family, i.e. the earnings before deduction of income tax, national insurance contributions and incidental expenses. It is also assumed that the family would be paying an average rent (including rates) of about £3 a week.
The levels of remission would be higher in the case of larger families.
