§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Attorney-General what has been the reason for the delay, now approximately two years, since a request was first made for an investigation into the alleged illegal practices known as cube-cutting; and when he now expects to issue a report.
The Attorney-GeneralThe delay in this matter is due to the complexity of the inquiries which are being made and the many other demands upon the time of the police responsible for them. It is hoped that inquiries will be completed within two months.
