§ Mr. AmeryMy right hon. Friend wrote last August to the lord mayor, mayor or council chairman of 50 local authorities. Arrangements for local house improvement months are being made with 32 authorities, nine councils are still considering the matter, three have not been able to co-operate and six have not yet replied.
