§ Mr. Peter WalkerEncouraging progress is being made. 17 country parks and 23 picnic sites have been approved for grant under the Countryside Act, 1968. Another 71 schemes have been approved in principle by the Countryside Commission, who have nearly 180 more schemes under consideration.
