Friend is referring to the election to have gains or losses on quoted securities calculated by reference to their 6th April, 1965, values without regard to acquisition cost. I regret that the information is not available. However, I have no reason to suppose that the arrangement is not working perfectly satisfactorily; perhaps my hon. Friend would draw my attention to any complaints which he may have received.
