Mr. George Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Wales whether he will now name the competent managers in industry who are being attached to the Welsh Office; whether they will work in Cathays Park, Cardiff, or in London; and what remuneration they will receive.

No managers in industry are being attached to the Welsh Office. The team of six business men whose appointments and details were announced by my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary, Civil Service Department on 22nd July are based on the Civil Service Department. Their services are at the disposal of all Ministers and Departments.
