HC Deb 02 November 1970 vol 805 c279W
Mr. Barnett

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many people are served by each social worker in the towns of Crompton, Royton, Heywood, Milnrow, Wardle, Littleborough and Whitworth; and how this compares with London and the South East and the rest of Great Britain.

Mr. Alison

Information about the individual towns is not available but the average population served by a social worker in Lancashire is 3,459, compared with 2,977 in London and the South East and 4,254 in the rest of Great Britain.
