§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he is aware that to meet current United States legislation on air pollution a British firm, the name of which has been sent to him, has invented a carburetter limiting exhaust fumes and thus preventing the pollution of the atmosphere; and whether he will take steps to see that these are introduced gradually, and eventually generally, to all British-made vehicles.
§ Mr. PeytonI am aware of this device and am at present considering the possibility of further controls on vehicle exhaust fumes.
