§ Mr. Denis Howell:The Francis Committee is still taking evidence and has not yet reported. In view of the great importance of the matters it is con- 614W temporary private accommodation, while remedial works are carried out. The decision of whether or not to pay such allowances, however, is a matter for the local authority.
