§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Attorney General when he expects to receive the Law Commissions' Reports on the Limitation Act, 1963; if he will consider an early dateline for completion of these reports; and if he will make a statement.
§ The Solicitor-General:I have been asked to reply.
The matters which the Law Commissions have been invited to study raise difficult and complex issues. Although I appreciate the reasons why hon. Members consider this matter urgent, we must give the Commissions time to conduct the necessary consultations, and I do not think that they should be pressed to submit a premature report.
