asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he has given further consideration to the size of profit margins in food distribution.

Mr. Cledwyn Hughes:

After careful consideration my right hon. Friends and I have decided that the right course would be to ask the National Board for Prices and Incomes to examine and report on the whole question of prices, profits and costs in food distribution. A reference to the board is being made accordingly.
