Mr. Frank Allaun

asked the Prime Minister if he will now approach President Nixon regarding the latest developments in the war in Cambodia and Vietnam, in view of Her Majesty's Government's responsibilities as co-Chairman of the Geneva Conference.

The Prime Minister:

We are in regular contact with the United States Government who are fully aware of our position as co-Chairman of the Geneva Conference and of our hope that a negotiated solution to the conflict in Indo-China will be achieved as soon as possible.
