asked the Secretary of State for Scotland when details will be available of rate rebate payments in Scotland for the year 1968–69.

Mr. Ross:

I am publishing detailed information on 3rd June.

In the second half of the year about 95,000 domestic ratepayers benefited, and over the whole year the average rebate was about £17 15s.
