HC Deb 27 May 1970 vol 801 c481W
Mr. Brooks

asked the President of the Board of Trade how many trade offices he operates in each of the Central American Republics; and what proposals he has for increasing British exports to those countries.

Mrs. Gwyneth Dunwoody:

There is a representative of the British Government resident in each of the six republics in Central America, and trade promotion is one of his most important duties. The full range of the Board of Trade's export promotion facilities and those of the British National Export Council is available to firms exporting to these countries.
