Mr. Bessell

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will now give an undertaking that the proposals of the Redcliffe-Maud Commission for the inclusion of Torpoint, Saltash and the St. Germans Rural District in a new Plymouth Unitary Authority will be rejected by his Department, and that the present County Borough of Cornwall shall remain unaltered in any reorganisation of local government.
